Overview
I got inspired to write a simple book on design with the little knowledge I already had.
After writing the book, I needed a lot of designs, a logo for the ebook, an ebook cover design, a landing page to setup my sales funnel. I had done these things before for others, however to do something for yourself, we all know how that can be.

Discover
Once inspiration hit, I had to find out if there were actually people who would be interested in what I was about to do, and who my target user were.
Define
I came up with a couple of user personas to help clearly state and represent the people this product is targeting.
Project Goals
The goal of this project was to do proper branding of the product, and to deliver a fully functional, responsive and interactive landing page that would help customers move seamlessly through the funnel process, and ultimately to make a purchase.
Success Criteria
This project would be considered a success, when the product branding is done, the landing page prototype completed, and the live site landing page delivered.
Challenge
One of the challenges I had was the fact that I had to use a bunch of different tools throughout this project, so it was a lot of moving content around, researching which tool was best to use.
For collaboration, this was a project I undertook alone, however I did get a lot of ideas from my family on marketing strategies.
Ideate
So I mapped out my idea for what the content of the landing page should look like, keeping the marketing strategies of promoting and showcasing the book, and offering incentives in mind.

Visual Style
The visual styles of course are as a direct result of the book branding. It had to have the look and feel of the book, so when users land on the site, it's not looking completely different from the book or ad they clicked on to get here.
This helped to maintain consistency and efficiency through the final iteration process.
Prototype
After a couple of weeks of designing and making adjustments, this was the final prototype, which I went ahead to make a functional landing page in Webflow. It's a single page with the aim of marketing the ebook (using incentives too) and getting visitors to make a purchase.

Thoughts & Learnings
Looking back I feel really proud that I did all this myself, I was able to bring out something good from a bad period in my life, and that's going to stay forever. I learned a whole lot about marketing strategies, about writing, using a flip book (prior to that I had no idea what a flip book was), learning to use new tools, and as a designer there was a lot of improvements in my designs.
