Overview
SignalADoc is a med-tech company that is creating products that bring health solutions to patients at their doorstep or vicinity. This project was about designing a pharmaceutical desktop and mobile app, that allows pharmacies help their walk in patient consult a doctor right there in the pharmacy and receive prescriptions form the doctor.

Discover
In Nigeria, and really, many African countries, healthcare is not so easily accessible, and so when the average Nigerian is sick, they would rather go to the pharmacy and have drugs prescribed to them from the pharmacist without necessarily knowing their prognosis, than go to the hospital because of the high cost.
SignalADoc is trying to solve this problem by bringing the doctors to pharmacy walk in patients, giving them the option to consult a professional doctor (at a very low fee), get correct prognosis, and have the doctor prescribe a medicine for them that they can then buy from the pharmacy.
Define
The next step was to determine what we wanted to achieve with this project, what problem we wanted to help users solve.
Project Goals
The primary goal of this project was to design an app that allows pharmacies to sign up, help their patients consult a doctor and receive patients prescriptions from doctors. Pharmacies can also manage their inventory, prescription orders and in store orders, and receive notifications when a new order comes in.
Success Criteria
The project was considered a success when the desktop and mobile app designs were ready and meet the market need after iteration sessions with the team and actual pharmacy owners/workers.
Challenge
We had a month timeline to complete the project but ended up spending a little over two months. We had so many iterations, and additional features, the final designs looked very different from the initial designs, but that's the thing about being a UI/UX designer right? We iterate and iterate until we have a product that is easy to use and solves user problems.

Thoughts & Learnings
This was a new experience for me, and I did learn a lot, we brought in a pharmacist to some of our meetings, and the pharmacists knowledge and information was very insightful in designing an app that is actually useful and effective to Pharmacists.
Ore was truly amazing, the designs are impeccable, and her work ethics are great. She was fair and gracious even during the project timeline extension.
